Never use words in complete CAPITALS in your post title and inside your postUsing words in all capitals is similar to shouting/screaming on the internet, which is rude and offensive. Acronyms/abbreviations are exempt from this rule.
LinksYou should code all website links and download links. This makes your post layout neat and easier for other members to notice your links.
- To code your links, when making your post, simply highlight them with your mouse cursor and click the "#" button in the post editor.
- Do not hide links behind text such as: "Click Here", "File 1", "File 2", etc. It makes extra work for our moderators when checking posts/links.
Link protectorsIt is highly advised
not to use link protectors in your post. Examples of link protectors: lix.in, link-protector.com, hideurl.biz, urlcash.net, etc.
The major problem caused by link protectors is that they fulfill their purpose via extreme measures that make most members not able to find their way through the various pop-ups and advertising involved with those protected links. This ultimately causes the protected actual download links to expire as they will not have been downloaded for an extended time.
7th Heaven is the safest forum you can find, but if you still wish to protect your download links, please use the forum's hide function instead of link protectors. The hide function is easier to use and more powerful than link protectors.
Select File Host7th Heaven integrates a special feature that allows our members to easily see what file host is used in a post, without having to open the post.
To know how to implement this special facility in your posts, please read our guide on
how to select the correct File Host in your post.
Tagging System7th Heaven uses a tagging system that enables all posters to add specific tags to their topics. Using tags in your topics allow all members to easily find all similar topics which fall under the same genre or category.
Click here to know more about the tag list and instructions.
Hide Function- This allows posters the option to hide their download links which will only be viewable to someone after replying to your post.
- Only download links are allowed to be hidden. All other parts of your post; movie details, previews, etc, are to be viewable to all members.
- When you use the hide function, you must say in your post, to which file host your files are uploaded.
Duplicate postsDuplicate posts from different members in our very busy forum happens every now and then. Our simple rule is that the later post is deleted, unless there are exceptional reasons to keep both posts, such as one of the following:
- Different File Format (AVI, WMV, MPEG).
- Different Resolution (Viewable screen size).
- Different Language version.
- Different File Host (HotFile, MegaPorn, DepositFiles, etc).
In addition, the following exceptions are made:
Q: A full movie that i would like to post is already posted here unsplit. Can I post it with split scenes?
A: Yes. This allows members to download just particular scenes.
Q: Some of the scenes from a full movie that i would like to post are already posted on the board, can i post it?
A: Yes. You can either post it as a complete movie, or the missing split scenes.
SearchPlease ensure you use the search function properly. To search the entire forum, always go to the main forum page and do a search from there. If you use search from within a board, then it will return search results only from that board.
A guide to using the search function is here:
Guide to Forum Searching.
